Remember I will be going live on my instagram page at 8:00AM MST and I would love to have you join me on there to discuss what has stood out to you from the series this week
Scriptures:
Monday, July 6: In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. Ephesians 3:12
Tuesday, July 7: For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth. Psalm 71:5
Wednesday, July 8: This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14
Thursday, July 9: The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. Isaiah 32:17
You women who are so complacent,
rise up and listen to me;
you daughters who feel secure,
hear what I have to say Isaiah 32:9
till the Spirit is poured on us from on high,
and the desert becomes a fertile field,
and the fertile field seems like a forest.
The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert,
his righteousness live in the fertile field. Isaiah 32:15-16
Friday, July 10: though I myself have reasons for such confidence. If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: Philippians 3:4
If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee; as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for righteousness based on the law, faultless Philippians 3:4-6
But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. Philippians 3:7-9
Saturday, July 11: But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. Jeremiah 17:7
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8
